How do we stay focused, keep from “burning out” as overwhelming news stories pour into our Facebook feeds…and really make a difference in our own communities? Events posted here are focused around local, organized opportunities that support our mission in the 11th District. You’ll be in good company with other Indivisible members, making a difference and working with other resisters.

Swing Left Clawson Canvass

Swing Left GP & Friends Clawson Canvass: Our group’s first canvass is set for Saturday, September 23, 2017. 10 am to 1pm (Rain date: Sunday, September 24, 2017, 11am to 2pm).
Meet at Clawson City Park, 935 N. Custer Ave.
LOOK FOR THE TABLE WITH BLUE BALLOONS.
Schedule:
10:00 am – 11:00 am – Informational breakfast, socializing, and brief canvass training.
11:00 am – 1:00 pm – Conduct canvass with a partner.
1:00 pm – Return to Clawson Park. (We will wait for any stragglers.)
We will pair up for the Clawson canvass. Each team will be assigned approximately 30 addresses to contact. This should take 2 hours or less for each team. If you do not have a partner in mind, you will meet one at the morning breakfast. Hope to see you there!!!
