How do we stay focused, keep from “burning out” as overwhelming news stories pour into our Facebook feeds…and really make a difference in our own communities? Events posted here are focused around local, organized opportunities that support our mission in the 11th District. You’ll be in good company with other Indivisible members, making a difference and working with other resisters.

Forward Action Michigan Plymouth-Canton

FAM Plymouth-Canton is co-hosting this meeting with Indivisible – District 11 this month, as they make an effort to reach out to members throughout our congressional district.

* Indivisible District 11 gives update on their direction for 2018 and ways to get involved and volunteer. http://
* Emerge Michigan discusses their organization that is changing the face of politics by identifying, training and encouraging Democratic women to run for office, get elected and to seek higher office. http://www.emergemi.org/
* Fayrouz Saad, who is is running for Congress in Michigan’s 11th Congressional District (which covers both Plymouth and Canton and is currently represented by Dave Trott). Fayrouz was born and raised in Michigan and has spent her career serving the public, most recently for Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan. She also is a graduate of Emerge Michigan.
